This pedal sounds like it mainly a mid boost pedal as you can hear in the sound clip below. This is very effective for amps with a “scooped” sound to them. It really brings out the palm muted notes compared to it being off.

Conclusion
In total, I’ve been super happy with this pedal and I think that it one pedal that every rock/metal guitarist should consider because it really takes lead and rhythm tones to the next level. Like it was said earlier, this pedal sounds really good with amps that already have a “scooped” sound to them because of it acting like a mid boost.
