Overview
In this article I will be sharing my experience on seeing Tool during their Winter 2024 tour in the US. I drove 5 hours to Oklahoma City to see this concert and overall it did not disappoint. Below I will go further into my experience.
Experience
I attended the Tool concert in Oklahoma City on February 3 at the Paycom Center. I sat in section 330 towards the top of the arena. Even though the seats were “far” away from the stage the experience was still a good one. Out of all the concerts that I’ve been too this one would probably be one of the more interesting ones because of how the Tool fandom behaves and how passionate they are.
After I began to listen to Tool I’ve always wanted to see how Tool fans are in person. The first experience that will stick with me was seeing someone wearing a fake Patrick and SpongeBob Tool poster shirt.
I’ve always heard about the concert posters to be a hot commodity but it was definitely a different experience to see that in person. I haven’t seen the merch lines at any other concert to be that busy. I didn’t end up getting anything but I can see why people enjoy their merch.
I wouldn’t call myself an avid Tool fan but I do enjoy their music. I was a bit sad that they didn’t end up playing Schism at my show but I did end up enjoying Stinkfist.
The one song that completely sounded different live would be Jambi. I was never a huge fan of that one on the album but when the breakdown hit, I was surprised how good it sounded live.

Conclusion
Overall, I thought this show was a really good one. I wouldn’t say it was my favorite as that one is still going to be Rammstein. However, this show was a good one to sit an relax and enjoy the show. You can find more of my concert reviews/experiences here!
